Heart Meditation is a wonderful way to unlock natural creativity, promote confidence and relaxation. Whether a complete beginner or a professional artist, you are warmly welcome to join us on this adventure of 'Drawn from the Heart'.

Through creative writing sessions, research and personal experience, we have discovered the amazing benefits of creating whilst focused in the heart. These benefits include:

Over the six sessions, we will develop your Heart Meditation practice, and explore various meditative and creative drawing techniques that will benefit artists of all abilities. There will also be an opportunity for you to weave these elements together and produce a single piece of artwork. You will have access to session recordings in case you need to miss some or you wish to revisit the practices.

Exchange

The course is £85 for six weeks of nourishing heart meditations and inspiring drawing practices. The whole course will be recorded and available for you to enjoy again and again. If the amount would be prohibitive for you, please get in touch. We may be able to help.

On the Six Week Course

Your Host

Tejas Rowan, is a Writer/Illustrator, Artist, Actress and Singer. She has over 20yrs experience in teaching the disciplines of dance and Performing Arts and has directed and choreographed professionally.

In 2014, Tejas was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia syndrome. Her illness was severe causing prolapse discs, migraines and culminating in her becoming wheelchair bound for nearly three years. Over this period Tejas began using art as a therapy to escape the pain. This developed into more than a pastime, and she is currently studying an MA in Illustration with Falmouth University.

Heart Meditation Practice has also been fundamental in Tejas’ continuing healing process. She is a qualified Heart Meditation Facilitator with the Heart of Living Yoga Foundation and is studying kirtan with Jai Uttal.

Tejas is writing and illustrating a number of written works, including a collection of poetry, and is researching visual art and creative writing projects to help people with Chronic Pain. She holds a BA Honours in Theatre, a Certificate of Education, has a diploma in Feline behaviour and is a qualified TEFL teacher.
