Revolution
of Love
Reading Circle
Together, we are practicing other ways of being - through radical self care, nurturing critical thinking, imagination and compassion. Together, we are exploring ways of being Love in Action. We know from history, anthropology and social movements that cooperative communities are possible, that democracy can be direct with no need for elites, that sharing is a way of creating wealth that enhances our lives and our ecosystems. Another world truly is possible.
Together we are reading and discussing inspiring works by visionary writers to help us connect with what is possible and to find our own ways of embodying it. Our sessions begin and end with guided heart meditations to help us speak and listen in a heartfelt way. So far we’ve read and discussed:
The Dispossessed & Five Ways to Forgiveness by Ursula K Le Guin
Body of Glass (aka He, She, It) by Marge Piercy
The Serviceberry by Robin Wall Kimmerer
A Revolution of Love
is happening across the world.
More and more of us are seeing how the pyramid power structures we’ve inherited
are causing a planetary crisis.
We’re working together to address the roots of the interconnected crises of economy, ecology & emotion.
Our next shared reading will be The Ones who Walk Away from Omelas by Ursula K. Le Guin. If you’d like to join us, please fill in the form below and we’ll keep you up to date.
