Let me say this gently

Eve in Heligon.jpg

Let me say this gently,

dear friend.

It is not our job

to become loveable.

Can it be ok

to hear that?

We need not change

the shape of our bodies

or paint our faces.

We are loveable

if we do or don't.

We don't have to mould

our point of view

to match another.

We are loveable

whatever we

might think.

Love is neither reward

for good behaviour

nor payment for

services rendered.

That is something

else …

Love is the

pulse of Life

the nature of All

the ground of our Being.

It is not our job

to become loveable.

Can it be ok

to see this?

For loveable is

what we are

already.

What if we

stop trying

to prove

our worth

just for a moment

and begin to relax

into the knowledge

that Love is

what we

are.
